Corfu is served by the Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport (CFU), located just 2 km from the city centre. In June, the airport is extremely well connected, with over 40 airlines operating flights from nearly 100 airports around the world.

 

Travellers from within Europe will find plenty of direct options: Ryanair, easyJet, and Jet2 operate the most frequent services, alongside carriers such as British Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and many others covering major hubs across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and beyond. From Athens, there are up to 7 direct flights per day, operated by Aegean Airlines, Sky Express, and Ryanair, making Athens a convenient connection point for intercontinental travellers.

 

For those coming from outside Europe, the only intercontinental direct services are from the Middle East — from Tel Aviv and Dubai — so travellers from the Americas, Asia, Africa, or Oceania will need to connect through a major European hub (London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, or Athens are all popular choices).
